Biography

I am a Lecturer in Genomic Medicine and researcher at the Centre for Genomic Medicine at Ulster University. I graduated with a PhD in epigenetics in 2016. From 2016-2019, I was a postdoctoral research associate at Ulster University working on various projects including an interdisciplinary project relating to a longitudinal randomized controlled trial investigating the epigenetic effects of folic acid supplementation on children's psychosocial development in the second and third trimester of pregnancy.

My research focuses on epigenetic epidemiology, with interest in understanding the
role of epigenetics in human health and disease.
