Biography

I am a currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer, Edinburgh. I am interested in using multiple lines of ‘omics’ data (such as genomics, epigenomics and proteomics) to understand biological mechanisms underlying complex disease states. I completed my PhD in 2021 with Dr Riccardo Marioni where I examined whether blood-based molecular markers could predict our risk of dementia. My work involves analysing biological datasets from large population-based studies and collaborating with other experts in molecular epidemiology.
