2025 UKEMS Conference
York, UK

The 47th UKEMS annual meeting was held at the university of York, UK. Over 100 scientists from industry and academia were present for the 4 day event which started on the 6th of July 2025.

On Tuesday 8th July, MEG-UK hosted their Special Interest Group session within the UKEMS annual meeting.

We welcomed four speakers to our session: 
Jasmine Khouja (University of Bristol): Methylation signatures of e-cigarette use and causal inference in smoking-related health outcomes
Ruth Morse (University of the West of England): Ring chromosomes, their implications in genotoxicity and clinical phenotype
Anna Soerensen (Hasselt University): TERT gene expression as an important player between the prenatal environment and childhood attention
Emanuela Volpi
 (Westminster University): Environmental determinants of genome health in urban settings
