Biography

My current research is in exploring the role of the immune system in the development of Bone Marrow Failure (BMF) syndromes and the interaction between the immune system and malignant clones.

My previous research focussed on exploring DNA methylation as a potential mediator of early life exposures on risk of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL). I also used a two-sample Mendelian randomization approach to analyse existing genome-wide association and epigenome-wide data to consider the role of DNA methylation as a potential mediator of environmental exposures on childhood ALL risk.
